Shifter Axton has driven many hundreds of miles to be with his human lover, Leander. While he is thrilled to be with his human, the city is no place for a werewolf. But Axton makes the best of it, meeting Leander's family, and in time becoming attached to them. Until an ex shows up and threatens the welfare and lives of both Leander and his family.

I loved watching our two main guys fall deeply in love with each other, even while fate rained havoc down around them. So well written and edited. Characters were deeply drawn as was the surrounding LA neighborhoods. It was all there...friendship, kinship, thrills, tragedy, and yes, sex! The ending was a cliffhanger, and I do believe I used a half box of Kleenex. So damn the author and she best get #3 out soon! Just kidding, SP. Highly recommended.
