Not your typical mm romance. 3.5 stars rounded up. Quite well written, but so heavy on LA gang drugs and violence that it was really difficult to wade through. If you like cops vs. bad guys, a wee bit of romance, with a dose of vampire bikers, this might be your cup of tea. AM Riley's got a terrific sense of humor, which helped lighten the dark mood...at least some of the time. I've already purchased the second in the series, so I'll read it eventually. However, if I don't find Peter and Adam together in this next book, that will be it for me.
